The NPF is currently involved in the following projects and programs:
Web Site Enhancements – Ongoing content and graphic enhancements to the
www.NationalPainFoundation.org
Web site.
"What's Worked For Me" – An online threaded discussion for persons in pain and care- givers to talk about avenues that have worked for them in managing the far reaching implications pain has on their lives. Monitored by trained pain patients, a pain trained nurse and others with experience living with chronic pain.
Provider Program – The purpose of the provider program is to link persons in pain to physicians and individuals who specialize in treating pain related conditions.
Research Programs – Linking interested persons in pain to a variety of meaningful research programs and opportunities.
Multicultural Programs – Ensures that we provide information in an understandable format as it relates to different cultures, ethnic backgrounds and genders.
Pain Awareness Campaigns – Grassroots efforts to educate communities, employers, insurance companies and government entities about the serious implications pain has on an individual's life.
